Dotty for spots

It's no secret.

I love polkadots.

Yep, spots and dots of all shapes and shades - I adore them bright, I long for them white, they always make me smile.

Today they lived up to their reputation as a mood lifter when I made friends with a little beauty in my lunch break. We bonded, a friendship was formed and I just HAD to bring it home with me.
I salute you, hot pink silk cushion witih white felt polkadots.
(No pic - my work phone is broken, as is my camera and I have no way of capturing its beauty!)

Looks fab on my new white couch. Me thinks an orange stripe beauty will be next.
Oh and how I'd bend over backwards for a Rubie Green masterpiece.
And a Union Jack classic. Just like Emma's.
Oh, and I wouldn't mind a puppy cushion either!

Eat. Pray. Love.

Yes, this is a plug. But please read on.
I'm involved with the Starlight Children's Foundation, a cause dear to my heart, and sit on the Young Starlight Committee. We're a group of young professionals in Adelaide who donate our time to organise fundraising events for the Foundation.
We've had some fabulous social events, raising more than $15k over the past three years to go towards building Adelaide's first Starlight Express Room at the Women's and Children's Hospital.
We're all about weaving fundraising into our every day lives and turning normal, social events into successful yet subtle fundraising efforts.
Eat Pray Love is our next movie night and although reviews of the book are mixed (I LOVED the first half but kind of lost interest in the second half), I believe it's going to be one of the most beautiful and breathtaking films with stunning backdrops in Italy, India and Bali. Plus, there's Julia Roberts - don't we just love her!?
So this is to all the Radelaidians out there - secure your ticket for opening night at Palace Nova Eastend . . . bubbles and popcorn included! A great night out with the girls - with the sleep-easy-at-night gooey warmth that comes with supporting a wonderful children's charity.
Tickets available at www.dramatix.com.au/eatpraylove
Thank you xo

And breathe . . .

OMG. What a crazy few weeks. Good few weeks, but crazy.

My computer has hated me and has been doing funny things so I've been denied access to my little polkadot pantry - how time flies!

So, to bring you up to speed . . . I've been to Darwin to visit the gorgeous Bree, had my first Opera experience, celebrated the exciting news I'm going to be an aunty, over-indulged on Grand Final day (oh, to think we have to do it all again this weekend!) and had a wee little romance to keep things interesting!

I can smell Spring in the air - the days are lasting longer and it's not so hard to get out of bed.

Life is good.
