Dirty Thirties

It's been a while, people!

I've left my laptop in the Rads until I head home next - I couldn't fit one more thing in my suitcase. Packing down from a two bedroom place to fit into one bedroom in a share house is hard!

So my posts are few and far between. And hasn't Gemma let me know that!

In the meantime, I wanted to indulge in the fun of my 30th birthday.

Roman Holiday was the name of the game and we had so much fun at Ruby Red Flamingo.

Thanks to Tina from Lady Chatterley's Affair for her styling genius xx

More pics to come when I'm reunited with my laptop ...

Ps. How hot is my necklace?! Thanks to Miss Brown, I now have my very own LCA High Society necklace! Whoop!

Meet Shuggie

You know me and how much I love finding a new blog to get my teeth stuck into.

And you also know how much I love making new friends.

Well, I managed to combine the two in my first two weeks in Melbourne (I'll get to New York later, patience people!).

Lill introduced me to Shuggie, this mythical character I'd heard so much about - "She's my Melbourne version of you" Lill tells me.

So we finally met and she was every bit the awesome Lill made her out to be.

AND she let us set up a blog for her to document her travels to Mexico! How cool!

How many tacos can one girl eat?
How many trinketts can one girl buy?
She's worth 4 million camels in Morocco-
how does that translate into Llamas?
Will she actually use this blog?
Let's find out!

Shuggie has a way with words - reading her blog is like being on an adventure with her. And she takes food pics - even of potatoes in jars. A girl after my own heart.

So check her out, it's a great read and you're sure to have a giggle (and don't you just love her blog design? Snaps to you Lill!)

Living it up

Totes living it up in the Big Apple.

Loving it sick. (Yes Lou, that was for you!)

Only complaint would be that there's hardly any wifi around and I'm having severe withdrawals from instagram, facebook and ye olde blog.

Oh, third world problems.

Heading to Woodbury Common today to shop our little hearts out.

Big 3-0 tomorrow. Tres excited. Breakfast at Pastis, walk along the High Line. Cruising in Chelsea Markets. Dinner at Balthazar. Whoop!

Also catching up with an old school friend and work colleague on Saturday night at STK - some uber cool steakhouse. Me and red meat. In New York. Match made in heaven.

Sorry there are no pics, peeps.

Another update soon!
