I love living in my little corner of Adelaide.
One of the simple joys I look forward to every year is the snap, crackle and pop of the nightly fireworks during the Royal Adelaide Show. They're practically in my backyard.
I manage to still get a surprise and a bit of a heart start when I hear them everynight - you'd think I'd learn and rest easy it's NOT a gunshot in my driveway!

oh, Show Time - how i love thee. You are very lucky to be able to experience the fireworks from the comfort of your home, but i hope you go along and relish in the Show Time atmosphere too (whilst eating fairy floss ofcourse). xx
